Polishing

We offer 2 levels of polishing - 1-Step Enhancements, and 2-Step Corrections.

A 1-Step Enhancement Polish is meant to greatly reduce defects (swirls, scuffs, etc.) and drastically improve gloss, while focusing more on budget and turnaround time rather than aiming for a perfect and swirl-free end result. Depending on the condition of your paint, a 1-Step will generally net you anywhere from a 50% to an 80% reduction in defects, with a MUCH higher level of gloss and clarity.

A 2-Step Correction Polish aims for that as-perfect-as-possible end result. A 2-Step consists of an initial “heavy cutting” polishing stage to remove as many heavy swirls, scuffs, scratches, water spotting, etc. as possible, followed by a fine polishing stage to bring out maximum gloss and clarity - leaving you with a final gloss and clarity like you have never seen before. A 2-Step generally removes 85%-100% of defects and although there is much more labor involved, it is absolutely the option for you if you want the best end result possible.

Note: ALL of our services - whether it is a 1-Step & Sealant, or a 2-Step & Professional Ceramic Coating - start by receiving a VERY thorough decontamination prep wash of the wheels/tires/wheel wells as well as all glass and all painted surfaces.

Coatings - Paint

We offer a few different paint coatings to ensure we always have something that fits your requirements. Regardless of durability ratings, rest assured that each coating offered below is of the highest standard and will give you exceptional results when properly cared for. All coatings we apply are infrared baked via large IR baking lamps to force-cure them - providing higher levels of gloss, extended durability, and maximum hardness. All coatings also include a free maintenance wash following application.

This is the top-shelf, professional-only offering from Nv Car Care. Having used this coating for the past few years, I can assure you that the results you will receive from this on your vehicle will be exceptional. Not only is it very glossy, but its hydrophobic properties (water behavior) are a beautiful sight to behold. Rated for up to 3 years, you can take comfort in knowing your vehicle has been treated with one of the most impressive coatings on the market.

Note: Our entry-level coating option above can be applied without polishing. Its advanced formula creates a robust and resilient shield against environmental contaminants, and its hydrophobic & oleophobic properties are excellent at providing resistance to oils, water, silicones, acids, alkyls and salts. UV ray impact is lessened, and everyday wear & tear is reduced - ensuring your vehicle maintains a flawless finish for years to come. 2 layers come standard with this coating to ensure proper coverage and increase film build for higher performance.

Coatings - wheels

Let’s face it - wheels and calipers are the dirtiest part of your vehicle. They accumulate all kinds of junk from driving - dirt, tar, iron contamination from brake rotors - meanwhile, all that junk is being baked into your wheel’s finish from high temperature braking and everyday driving. After a few drives, cleaning your wheels can be a cumbersome task - but it doesn’t have to be. Coated wheels & calipers are significantly easier to clean, generally looking fresh after a simple rinse with the hose or pressure washer - add in a quick round with a quality wheel cleaner every once in a while and you will cut your cleaning time into thirds - all while protecting against contamination embedding into your barrels and faces.

Using only professional-grade and certified-only access coatings, our Wheel Coating Service provides an incredibly thick and highly durable layer of protection for any wheels, calipers, or any other high-temperature, high-abuse areas painted areas. We apply a thick layer of coating, followed by infrared lamp curing to provide the best end result possible.

Pricing below consists of pulling wheels from vehicle, deep cleaning wheels/tires/calipers, applying a wheel-specific coating to all 4 wheels (full wheels - barrels and faces) and all 4 calipers (if painted/powder coated), IR baking, putting wheels back on the vehicle, and torquing everything back to factory torque specs with a professional-grade calibrated torque wrench.

Coatings - glass

Glass coatings are arguably my favorite coating to have. Not only do they make glass cleaning significantly easier, it gives me serious peace of mind knowing that rainwater doesn’t want to stick to my glass which could potentially inhibit my vision when driving in heavy storms.

Our Glass Coating Service creates a very hydrophobic surface on any glass in which the service is performed. This is extremely nice (not to mention much safer) for driving in rainy conditions because you likely won’t need to touch your wipers when traveling down the road, as the water will fly off your glass with ease. We start by polishing all exterior glass with a glass-specific cerium oxide compound, which leaves the glass perfectly clean and ready to receive the coating. This ensures the bond is as strong as possible.

Coatings - leather

Leather is a touchy subject in the detailing world. Some say to coat, some say don’t. Some say “just condition it”, some say otherwise. No matter how some may feel, we know one thing for certain - interior leather accumulates dirt extremely quickly, and the chances of regular deep cleanings with steam and leather cleaners are unlikely (and can degrade your leather long term). You touch your interior every time you drive your vehicle, and leather is notorious for accumulating body oils, environmental residues, and all other types of dirtiness that most don’t see. Having your leather coated makes routine cleanings extremely easy - usually only needing wiped down with a microfiber cloth and distilled water. Always remember - shiny leather is dirty leather!

Our Leather Coating Service offers a coating that boasts an advanced acrylic resin fusion, giving you a hydrophobic barrier which prevents oils and liquids from penetrating the leather. It also offers some abrasion resistance against regular getting-in-and-out damage - all without adding any greasy or oily feeling to your interior. It adds no gloss, only protection and richness - so your leather stays looking freshly cleaned and beautifully smooth.

Coatings - Trim

Plastic trim fades - this stops that.

Unfortunately, factory plastic exterior trims do not have any sort of UV protection, so the sun makes quick work of them. Black trims fade to grey, and makes your vehicle look much older than it is. Fortunately, this trim restorer & coating is the remedy - bringing them back to better-than-new.

Not only will our Trim Coating Service restore faded trim and protect new trim from fading, it also adds a hydrophobic effect to make cleaning your trim as easy as a quick rinse, and a swipe with the wash mitt in the worst case scenario.
